Arrow's VMI Solution Strengthens China's Top TV manufacturer's Supply Chain Capability

Arrow Asia Pac has signed a vendor-managed inventory (VMI) agreement with Sichuan Changhong Electric Co. Ltd.(Changhong), China's biggest export company and one of its top four TV manufacturers. Arrow will provide VMI supply chain service to Changhong's manufacturing plants in Sichuan as well as Guangdong province in China.

 

Likom group of companies

Arrow Asia provides consignment vendor-managed inventory (VMI) service and a Web-based supply-chain tool, CARES (Customer Automated Replenishment System), for the Likom group of companies. Based in Malaysia, Likom is a fully integrated EMS manufacturer of electronics and computer peripherals. Arrow's supply-chain solutions will help Likom improve materials management efficiency, reduce lead-time and inventory costs, and increase its flexibility to meet customers' demand.

 

Agilent Technologies Inc

Arrow Malaysia provides Agilent Technologies Inc. with a research and development supply-chain support solution that is expected to reduce the risk and complexity of the R & D process while driving improvements in time-to-market. Arrow is the first distributor to provide such a solution to Agilent in its Penang operations.

 

Changhong Electric Co. Ltd

Arrow China signed a vendor-managed inventory (VMI) agreement with Sichuan Changhong Electric Co. Ltd.(Changhong), China's biggest export company and one of its top four TV manufacturers. This new engagement signifies a deeper cooperation between two companies and this will also dramatically enhance Changhong's supply chain infrastructure.

 

Rockwell Samsung Automation

The implementation of Arrow's IPS supply chain solutions has helped the customer improved its inventory turns by more than 12, estimate reduction of their total cost of ownership up to 20%, improved their cash to cash cycle time and provided the flexibility and assurance of the supply. This is Korea's first and Arrow Asia- Pacific third case of IPS, paving the way for future markets adoption and differentiation.
