China-North - Sales Manager - Xi'an

Responsibilities

Manages an assigned territory/ies to exceed sales targets, increase market share and meet AAP objectives:

  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all products, services and technology.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff's productivity.
  • Directs professional account management activities.
  • Coordinates proper AAP resources to ensure efficient and stable sales.

Manages and develops sales team:

  • Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
  • Educates sales unit in terms of sales tactics.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of Sales Team; recommends necessary changes.

Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars to address the following issues:

  • New account sales and growth to base through sales force.
  • Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales.
  • Improved seminar presentations.
  • Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaign.
  • Proper use and level of sales support.
  • Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level.
  • Business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts.

Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing or an equivalent training in business or sales management
  • Requires seven or more years of experience in product sales in the electronic component or high technology sector with at least two years of experience in sales management.
  • (Experienced applicants will be considered as Senior Sales Manager)
  • Excellent knowledge of Arrow’s products, services, technology and supply chain solutions
